S1E19: Travel as a Couple, Beer, and Birds

In this episode of the Attempt Adventure Podcast, hosts James Barrett and Michael Desrosiers talk about some of the challenges as well as rewards of traveling with a partner or significant other, and how it differs from travel solo or with a friend. We also tell discuss an upsetting change to a classic Thai beer's branding and chat about birding in Colombia. Buckle up, y'all, because we get a bit off topic in this one!

James and Michael both had to take a penalty last week for not having done anything new or adventurous. James had to try a brand-new cuisine that he’d never had before. He found a delicious local Lebanese Halal restaurant. Michael had to try a street food shop he’d never visited in Bangkok before. He went to check out famous food vlogger Mark Wein’s new extremely spicy pad kaprao (basil pork) restaurant.

Adventures in the News

In this week's Adventures in the News segment, Michal shares an article about a couple in Colombia undergoing a "Big Year" by seeking to identify and document as many birds as possible in one calendar year.
